My 21 civic.... when I do drain and fill of cvt. I put new crush washer on drain plug and re install. I hope that is correct. Is there a service book I can buy for my car like a honda one.

you pull out the fill plug then the drain plug, measure what comes out and add back what the manufacturer recommends to fill, only one place for it to leak, drain plug, install new gasket, no brainer, all the stuff he's doing isn't necessary for fluid change.
